HAIYANG WANG

Professional Flutist

Mr. Wang is a classically trained concert flutist. He enjoys performing various styles of music in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. He is a founding member of the Ensemble 126 and the substitute flute for Sinfonia Gulf Coast Orchestra.

In 2020, he performed at the Florida Flute Association's Annual Convention in Orlando, and he was invited to perform at the “Sound of Baroque” Early Music Festival in 2018 in Shanghai, China.

In addition to the concert flute, Mr. Wang is also specialized in early music and baroque flute (the one-keyed flute). A highlight of his baroque music experience was an original-instrument performance in Dallas of Bach’s St. John Passion. (The performance was reviewed by the leading Dallas critic Mr. Scott Cantrell as being more satisfying to him than the Dallas Symphony performance of the St. Matthew Passion.)

YUNJIA GUAN

Concert Pianist & Piano Collaborator

Mrs. Guan is an active concert pianist. Some highlights of her performances include her solo and concerto performances at Palazzo dei Priori, Perugia Italy, in 2017, where she performed Prokofiev’s Piano Sonata No.1 and Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 2 under the baton of Mr. Uri Segal.

She has been invited to perform at the China Conservatory of Music “Spring of the Wetland” Piano Recital, National Piano Society of China Masterclass Recital, Panjin Musicians’ Association “Spring Festival” Gala Concert, and the 1st Panjin Piano Festival’s Opening and Gala Concert.

While classical music makes up the majority of her performing repertoire, she is interested in music of various styles or origins. In 2019, she toured with pianist Dr. Yuan Feng and their Jazz Piano Duo in Guangzhou and other 5 cities in China, where the performances were all well received.

Mrs. Guan is also an piano collaborator and has performed with many singers and instrumentalists. She has held positions for directing choir rehearsals and performances and accompanying for church services.
